About 400 prospective students are expected to attend Lambton College's spring open house Saturday.
"This year's event will be jammed packed with all sorts of interactive activities and education information," says spokesperson Cindy Buchanan. "It's a wonderful event to gather information."
Those who attend will be able to learn about the colleges 90 full-time programs and have the possibility to win prizes.
One attendee will even have the chance to win free tuition.
"We get people from all over Ontario," says Buchanan. "It's a good opportunity for students in communities across the province to take the time to come with family and friends and learn what Lambton has to offer."
Virtual tours will be available of Lambton's newest facilities that are under construction; the NOVA Chemicals Health and Research Centre, the new Athletics and Fitness Complex and Centre of Excellence in Energy and Bio-Industrial Technology.
Tours will be going on all day at Lambton's main campus and shuttles will be provided out to Lambton's Fire and Public Safety Centre of Excellence on Lasalle Line. Shuttles will also be provided on the main campus to the Skilled Trades Training Centre and residence.
Current students will be demonstrating how the mobile and in-class learning environment works. Faculty will also be on hand to ask program-specific questions.
The open house runs Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
