CANstruction Winners Announced

Pembina's "Gord Downie in Concert" was named the Judges Favourite from 17 structures now on display at the Lambton Mall in the annual CANstruction competition.

OLG Point Edward was judged to have the best use of labels, Unifor 848 was named Rookie Team, NOVA's "Hockey Night In Canada" was deemed to be the Best Use of the Canada 150 theme.

Worley Parsons' Totem Pole used the most cans, 5,290.

Arlanxeo's Rotating Beaver was the Structural Ingenuity award while Lambton College was named best Junior entrant.

The creations will be on display at the mall until March 21 and the public is invited to vote by monetary donations for their favourite.

All donations and cans will be passed along to the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
