The Ontario Provincial Police want to know how the public feels about their level of performance.
West Region Community Services Coordinator Sgt. Dave Rektor says they've retained a research consultant to conduct random telephone surveys.
"It gives us a report card detailing how people are served by the OPP and how they rate that service," he says. "It's a guage of public concern and policing issues and an indicator of making improvements in service we provide. It's also a means to see how the public views our delivery of service."
The telephone questionnaire will take five to seven minutes to complete and they're expected to wrap up by the end of March.
