The owners of Valley Axe are breathing new life into the adjacent former Bluewater Fun Park on London Line. Bo Tait says they've leased the five acre property and plan to build as many as a dozen outdoor throwing ranges, a soccer field and volleyball courts. He says they're going to tear down the waterslides and pools and expect to have construction complete by the summer. "We've had a great reception from Sarnia and Lambton County for Valley Axe," says Tait. "We're pretty busy, Fridays and Saturdays are kind of crazy. We saw this old park as just a great opportunity to expand on that." Tait says they plan to have lots of green space for events like festivals and car shows. He declined when asked to disclose the cost of the expansion. It's hoped they'll be open in June.
