Trump Not The Only One Talking About Walls

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump isn't the only one talking about walls.

Veteran Sarnia City Councillor Dave Boushy doesn't like what he sees at city hall.

Council approved spending $74,000 to establish political, public and staff-only areas and the renovations are well underway.

"It's a wall, it's a wall between the mayor and administration," says Boushy. "Some people are saying to me, you know, we're all hemmed in here, walls all around us."

The political wing at city hall includes the mayor's office and the councillor meeting room while staff work space in the administrative area will be accessible only with a key card.

The alterations are among the actions taken in response to a workplace investigation report, released last fall, that found Mayor Mike Bradley had bullied and harassed four senior staff members including City Manager Margaret Misek-Evans.
