With the holidays behind us, residents are taking down the decorations and Christmas trees.
Sarnia Operations Manager Bryan Prouse says annual Christmas Tree pickup starts Sunday.
"We ask people not to put the trees out until the night before your regular collection day, just due to the weather conditions," says Prouse.
"If we do get snow in the interim they might get covered in snow, and it's not the contractor's responsibility to dig through snowbanks to recover trees."
Prouse reminds residents not to wrap their tree in plastic bags, they will not be collected.
All trees collected will be made into wood chips.
