Sarnia Councillor Andy Bruziewicz will serve as chair of the Lambton Area Water Supply System's Joint Board of Management in 2017.
Point Edward Mayor Bev Hand will be vice-chair.
The board will also consist of mayors Steve Arnold of St. Clair Township, Todd Case of Warwick, Lonny Napper of Plympton- Wyoming and councillor Rick Goodhand of Lambton Shores.
LAWSS supplies potable water to 100,000 people in six Lambton County municipalities.
The treatment plant north of the Blue Water Bridge delivers water through about 250 km of pipeline.
