Sarnia police are investigating after a school crossing guard was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning. The collision occurred at around 8:50am at Ontario St. and Talfourd St. Police say the crossing guard, a 76-year-old man, was transported to Bluewater Health with what are believed to be serious injuries.
The 24-year-old male driver was not hurt.
The intersection at Ontario St. and Talfourd St. was closed for the police investigation.
