Police Investigating Significant Residential Break-Ins

Sarnia police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a pair of break and enters in the city.

The first incident happened on December 8 at a Blanche St. home. Police say American and Canadian money, a bracelet, rings, chains, sunglasses, iPhones, watches and a laptop were taken.

Constable John Sottosanti says a second break and enter occurred on Hannah Cres. sometime between 9am December 10 and 10:30am December 11.

Items taken include a solitaire white gold band, Bose speakers, a MacBook Pro, a number of gift cards from different stores, a Bell modem, American coins, quarters from special events released by the Mint Company, and a black Fender electric guitar with a black case.

Constable Sottosanti says police don't believe the incidents are related and aren't making the connection at this time.
