Chamber Accepting Nominations For Awards Gala

The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (OBAA).

A special launch was held Thursday at Sarnia's Imperial Theatre.

CEO Shirley de Silva says anyone can nominate a business for an award by filling out the nomination form on the Chamber's website.

"The OBAA's is a signature event for the Chamber of Commerce," says de Silva. "This will be our 28th year of presenting OBAA's and it's extremely important for our community. It's a way that we can honour those businesses in the community that have done an excellent job and that have gone over and above what can be expected."

Awards will be presented in 16 categories, including: small and large Business of the Year, Member of the Year, Outstanding Customer Service and Young Entrepreneur.

Nominations can be made here.

The awards will be handed out at a gala June 16, 2017 at the Imperial Theatre.
