The plaque, located in the school foyer, is in honour of Sarnia's fallen Catholic soldiers, and contains 30 names.
13 soldiers died in the First World War, 14 in World War II, two in Korea and Will Cushley who was killed in Afghanistan.
It's inspiration and design came from former St. Pat's teachers Tom Slater, Lou Giancarlo and Tom St. Amand.
Alan Smith will begin his new role with the municipality on July 20.
