Sarnia-Lambton United Way Campaign Nears 70% Mark

The Sarnia-Lambton United Way annual fundraising campaign is nearing $1.4-million.

Executive Director Dave Brown says right now they're at 69% of their $2-million goal.

"We're actually $30,000 behind last years pace, which is about 1.5% and I expect by about Wednesday we will be at 70% of the campaign goal, which is $1.4-million," says Brown.

He says to date over 3,100 people have contributed to the campaign.

The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton funds 20 agencies providing 37 programs and services to the community.
