Give The Gift Of Reading

The annual Organization for Literacy in Lambton "Give the Gift of Reading" campaign is underway.

Family Literacy Coordinator Judith Farris says new, unwrapped baby, children or teen books can be dropped off at any Lambton County library, the Book Keeper in Northgate Plaza, Poppies Gift Store and at Bluewater Health or at the organization's office in the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre.

"Hopefully we can inspire a life-long love of reading," says Farris. "We love to give kids beautiful new books for Christmas that will hopefully engage them and help them discover the joy of reading for themselves."

The drive ends December 6, and books will be distributed through several Sarnia-Lambton community partners.
