An International Film Festival has returned to downtown Sarnia.
It's the second annual South Western International Film Festival.
The four day event features over a dozen film screenings at Imperial Theatre and different filmmaking workshops.
SWIFF Executive Director Ravi Srinivasan says the festival kicks off Thursday night with a Canadian film, "Mean Dreams." He says the intense thriller features some popular names.
"Bill Paxton, Colm Feore and a couple of really promising up and coming newcomers, Josh Wiggins and Sophie Nelisse," says Srinivasan.
"The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, had its world premiere there and then came to Toronto and had its North American premiere at TIFF so we're bringing it fresh of two big premiere's coming to Sarnia."
Srinivasan says also this year they have teamed up with Noelle's Gift for Saturday's Fam' Jam.
All of the proceeds from tickets sales for the screening of "Jumanji" will go to the charity.
Tickets are $12 for adults and children 14 and under are free. For the full festival schedule and tickets visit www.swiff.ca.
