Former Entropex workers have another ratification vote this week that could lead to the reopening of the Lougar Ave. plant.
The business closed in mid-July after 40 years in operation and a court-appointed receiver was looking for buyers.
UAW Local 251 Chair Robert Spinks says a new deal is being offered by a prospective purchaser.
Workers are being called to a 4pm vote Wednesday at the Clearwater Arena.
Last month, 88 of the 155 former workers voted 69-19 against a four-year contract offer from an undisclosed buyer.
Spinks says this new contract tries to address concerns voiced previously and is a good deal for all.
