There is the chance of heavy thunderstorms as this early September heat wave continues.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Sarnia-Lambton early Wednesday afternoon.
The national weather agency says conditions are favourable for the development of storms that could produce torrential rain. Strong wind gusts and large hail are lesser threats.
Watch for threatening conditions and take shelter if necessary.
Remember some severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
It's also recommended we go indoors when thunder roars to protect ourselves from lightning.
There is also the chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday with cooler, less humid air expected Friday.
