Area beaches have been cleared for swimming.
Lambton Public Health regularly checks the water quality at Grand Bend, Highland Glen, Brights Grove, Canatara, Pinery Provincial Park and Ipperwash Main Beach.
No warning signs are posted.
While no sampling occurs along the St.Clair River, caution signs advising high bacterial levels following heavy rainfall are permanently posted at Branton Cundick Park, Brander Park and Seager Park. Following heavy rainfall, the water at area beaches may be temporary polluted for up to 48 hours.
