A London truck driver has been charged with careless driving following a chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles Wednesday afternoon on Hwy. 40 south of Confederation Line.
Lambton OPP say a vehicle northbound on Hwy. 40 was waiting to make a left turn onto Gladwish Dr. with other vehicles behind it when a northbound tractor trailer failed to stop causing a series of collisions.
Police say all of the drivers expect for the 57-year-old truck driver were taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
Police responded at 3:30pm and Hwy. 40 was closed for about an hour for the investigation and clean-up.
