The weather agency issued the alert just before 4pm on Wednesday, with meteorologists tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing intense lightning and torrential downpours.
The warning was ended for the area around 6pm.
West Region OPP says the incident was isolated with no ongoing risk to public safety
Lambton OPP are on the lookout for a break and enter suspect.
