Donate To City Programs And Projects Online

You can now make donations to City of Sarnia programs and projects online.

Customer Service Manager Andrea Lane says they've added a donation link, under the "Online Services" section at Sarnia.ca.

"Donations made through the website will be issued an income tax receipt and the minimum donation amount is $10," says Lane.

Council-approved programs and projects currently accepting donations include :

- Bluewater Trails - Sarnia Canada Day - Errol Russel Park Re-Development Project - Friends of Centennial Park - Park Improvements - Park Trees and Gardens - Sarnia Arena Revitalization Project - Strangway Centre - Waterfront Programs

Lane says donations by cash, cheque or debit payment will still be accepted at City Hall in the Customer Service Department.

Youth volunteers practice coastal conservation

Nine young volunteers aged 11 to 17 spent three days exploring and protecting the Lake Huron coastline during the Coastal Conservation Youth Corps' inaugural program in Grand Bend from July 21 to 23.
