Corunna's popular Captain Kidd Days is on through Sunday. Beer gardens open Friday. There's a two-pitch tournament and the Miss Teen and Little Miss Corunna pageants. The parade begins at 11am Saturday and a Kids Zone opens at the Athletic Park at noon Saturday and Sunday. Other attractions and activities include a reptile zoo and face painting, a disco ball inflatable, Jayden the Jester, a 25-foot rock wall and a toddler zone. Gates open at 8pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for musical entertainment for those 19 and older. As usual Captain Kidd Days ends with a fireworks display at 10pm Sunday. ___ The St. Clair River Classic is this weekend. Powerboats will begin arriving in St. Clair Michigan on Friday. Actual racing begins at noon Sunday on the St. Clair River between Courtright and Mooretown. About 40 boats are expected. They'll be on display on Main St. in St. Clair Michigan as part of Funfest. ___ Other events this weekend include Gala Days at McDonald Park in Port Lambton from 9am until 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Funion Days are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Thedford.
