Staff at Sarnia City Hall want to know how the public feels about shipping containers.
Planners are proposing several amendments to the zoning bylaw controlling the large, prefabricated metal boxes.
Stacking them would be banned and only two containers would be allowed per property.
Chamber of Commerce President Shirley de Silva says they're gathering input from businesses for their thoughts on the proposals.
"Apparently there are a lot of businesses who use the shipping containers," she says. "Different businesses in different sectors have different purposes for them and restricting it to two may impact that."

Council is expected to make a decision on September 12.
