Sarnia police have arrested a 45-year-old city man on the grounds of first degree murder in connection with the death of Jonathan Patrick Pike.
The man was arrested around 12:15pm Thursday and is being held pending a bail hearing. His name has not been released.
The body of Pike, 26, of Sarnia, was found by police in a wooded area just west of Tashmoo Ave. during the early morning hours on Friday, March 25.
Cause of death has not been released.
Two people were arrested after a vehicle, believed related to the homicide was seized, following a pursuit with Lambton OPP Sunday, March 27.
They were charged with flight from police, but no charges directly connected to Pike's death were laid at the time.
