Sarnia To Host New Summer Music Festival

Sarnia will host a new summer music festival this year!

Canatara's Music In The Park will be held July 23rd, rain or shine.

My Red Rhino TV President Richard Marhue says the free event will showcase some of the top "up and coming" singers, musicians and bands from across Canada.

"Some of them have played with jazz, classics, members of Triumph and other bands and played Las Vegas," says Marhue.

"The event is really a family friendly event. We want everybody to come. To have a good time. It's all day, from noon until 10pm, at Canatara Park - Area 4, which is the big open field."

Donations will be collected for Harmony for Youth.

Director Gerry Surette says they survive solely on donations to provide music and social related programs to youth at risk.

"We're pretty stoked about what's happening," says Surette.

"Again, it's another event being brought to Sarnia, so it's a win, win situation and our children are really excited about it too."

Full details on the event and information on the performers can be found at musicinthepark.biz
