It's expected that the former St. Patrick's Catholic High School site in Sarnia will be green-fielded by the end of May.
The Bluewater Health Board of Directors discussed property matters during a closed door meeting in Petrolia Wednesday night.
President and CEO Mike Lapaine says their interest in the site is for parking.
"The only plans we have for the site is there is an agreement with the two track clubs that they will continue to be able to use the track club," he says. "Our interest in that site was for the parking. We have over 300 parking spots there, it's where our staff park.
"If we had lost that site, we wouldn't have anywhere for 300 staff to park."
The St. Clair Catholic District School Board reported earlier this month that talks with Bluewater Health for the sale of the East St. property were continuing.
