The drummer for Crash Test Dummies Mitch Dorge brought his Canadian schools tour to Sarnia this week.
Dorge spoke with students at St. Patrick's Catholic High School, Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School and SCITS.
On CHOK's The Talk Show with Sue Storr Wednesday morning, he said his interactive In-Your-Face presentation covers various topics including drug and alcohol awareness.
"I'm not talking about drugs being good or bad, they know these things can alter your consciousness," says Dorge. "They don't need to be told they are good or bad, and they don't need to be told right or wrong either. They have an ability of knowing when something's gone too far. What they need to do is understand where it came from, understand about the choice that you're making. If you're making an informed choice, that's the best we can ask for."
Dorge says he also speaks to students about peer pressure, bullying, and goal setting.
