Nominees for the 27th annual Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards have been released.
The awards celebrate all the local businesses and leaders who are very profound in the community.
"The Outstanding Business Achievement Business Award is the only program in Sarnia-Lambton to recognize and celebrate local businesses that do outstanding work," says Chamber President and CEO Shirley de Silva.
Former winner Mark Lumley says the awards help promote the businesses that win.
"The winners, myself included from quite some time ago, can use that in branding materials," he says. "These awards are community recognition."
A total of 66 businesses and leaders have been nominated for the 15 awards.
Fox FM's Eve Morgan is one of two nominees for Member of the Year.
Tickets for the event are $75 and are available to be bought at the Imperial Theatre Box office.
