Lambton OPP, EMS, Sarnia police, and Sarnia Fire and Rescue, were on scene of a fatal single motor vehicle crash on Churchill Line Friday afternoon.
The OPP say the vehicle hit a tree on private property and entered the south ditch just east of Mandaumin Rd. around 2pm.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. No name is being released pending notification of next of kin.
As a result, Churchill Line was closed between Mandaumin Rd. and Plowing Match Rd. for several hours.
