Over 30 members of the red-coated Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be trotting into Alvinston this September.
These officers will be performing the RCMP Musical Ride.
"The Musical Ride consists of the execution of a variety of intricate figures and cavalry drill choreographed to music," says the RCMP's official page.
The show is set for September 14, but the location is still undecided until the corporal checks out the areas available for the performance.
Brooke-Alvinston Mayor Don McGugan says that they will touring around Southern Ontario before making a pit-stop in the small municipality.
"They're in Exeter the day before, and then they're coming to us and then they're booking their horses in Exeter that night," he says. "Then they're moving onto somewhere else I believe after that. They're only in Ontario for three or four functions throughout this fall."
Mayor McGugan is hoping that the announcement will attract people of all ages.
"I would hope that we would get quite a group of young people, maybe boys and girls in the public school age, along with their parents and I think it's just a great function for a small municipality to be able to pull this off."
They have previously performed at the Calgary Stampede and in other huge events across Canada. The show could see anywhere from 2,000-7,000 spectators from across the area.
Tickets are $5 each and children can get in for free.
