A local organization is raising funds to help provide mobility or assistive equipment for adults with disabilities.
March of Dimes is holding a BBQ, bake sale and silent auction at Maxwell Park Place Saturday from 11am to 2pm. The event also includes a raffle and 50/50 draw.
Donations of any size are welcome to help buy, repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment for those in financial need, including wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and daily aids.
The organization aims to provide solutions through service, advocacy and research to help improve dignity and quality of life for people with disabilities.
