Internet Services Expanding In South Lambton

Finally, residents in Enniskillen Township including those in Petrolia will soon have high speed, economical internet service.

Enniskillen Township Mayor Kevin Marriott says they've reached an agreement with Tek Savvy after Bell Canada pulled the plug on a rural internet service.

The township has now received Industry Canada approval for the proposal.

"We are working with them to build two towers in the township where they will bounce the signal from Sarnia and the south," says Marriott.

Marriott says its hoped all residents will be able to access 10MB service by April or May. The price will range from between $30 to $55 depending on the package you sign up for.
