City/County Councillor Andy Bruziewicz says he has no problem increasing personal support workers hours at Marshall Gowland Manor to meet the growing demands of high-needs residents. County staff is proposing the equivalent of two full-time staff positions be added at a cost of about $123,000 in additional wages. In just one of MGM's four residential areas, 21 of 31 residents need full assistance during meal times. County council will be asked to approve the recommendation at its February 3 meeting.
