OPP Investigate Hit And Run

A young Sarnia man is facing charges for failing to remain at the scene of a collision.

Lambton OPP say the male driver of a pick-up truck struck another pick-up at the intersection of Christina St. and Lite St. around 8:30am Wednesday and then fled the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit followed the suspect to the dead end of Fort St. in Pt. Edward where officers attended.

A 23-year-old man appears in Sarnia court March 11 on charges of failing to remain at the scene of an accident and driving while suspended.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are being considered.
