Historical Society Working on Major Projects

The Sarnia Historical Society is currently working on two major projects in the community. President Ron RealeSmith says they pull information from the Sarnia Library archives and and share historical stories. He says their projects come at a great cost. The group recently was granted $6,000 from the City of Sarnia for operational costs of their website, which was launched this past August. The historical society runs on a volunteer-basis only and is made up of three members, including RealeSmith, Phil Egan and Laura Greaves.
