As the need in the community continues to grow, so does the local 663 Plumbers and Steamfitters contribution to the Salvation Army's Christmas Drive.
At the union hall Friday morning, monetary donations poured in from various community associations including $2,255 from Scotiabank and $25,000 from Kelgor.
Local 663 Business Manager Ross Tius says this years effort is the biggest yet.

Tius says over the last 21 years, they have collected over $250,000 for the Salvation Army.
The 46th annual CHOK Gift of Christmas again provided toys for the hampers with the help of Sarnia's McDonald's restaurants.
