An Ontario Municipal Board hearing set for next week, opposing plans for a new methadone clinic in south Sarnia, has been cancelled.
A nearby property owner's appeal of the city's zoning approval for 373 Vidal St. S has been withdrawn, negating the need for a hearing that was to begin next Monday, November 23.
Irene Flory felt the clinic use at Vidal St. Pharmacy was inappropriate and there was insufficient parking.
No reason for withdrawal of the appeal is given in a short notice to the city from Flory's legal representation.
