Operation Christmas Cheer

Operation Christmas Cheer is underway as local residents are doing their part to help spread the Christmas spirit to Canadian soldiers around the world.

Residents can drop off their cards, letters or postcards to the Blackburn Radio Studios on London Rd. before November 20.

Marketing Director Aaron Zimmer says it's an opportunity to show your support to those serving our country.

Zimmer says the envelopes don't need a stamp, just write "to a Canadian Soldier" on the front.

He says soldiers have responded with thank you letters in the past.
