Public Elementary Schools Returning To Normal

Things are returning to normal at public elementary schools. The province and the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario reached a tentative deal Monday following marathon bargaining. The government also reached a deal with support staff represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees. Lambton-Kent District School Board Director Jim Costello says they'll begin working on getting fall report cards distributed.

Education Minister Liz Sandals says full progress reports including teacher comments should be out December 11th.

Costello says it may take some time to get all extracurricular activities restored as well.
