Gusty winds and rain caused in part by the remnants of hurricane Patricia are making for a busy day for Sarnia's public works crews.
City Operations Manager Brian Prouse says flooded catch basins clogged by falling leaves have caused heavy ponding on area roads.

The city had received about an inch of rain Wednesday, with more showers in the forecast Wednesday night and Thursday.
Prouse says crews have also been dealing with at least four watermain breaks.
Environment Canada says this fall storm could bring rainfall amounts of 45-55 mm and winds gusting up to 70 km/h, with the storm hitting harder closer to Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
Sarnia-Lambton remains under a rainfall warning.
