Lambton County's Social Services Department continues to work with stakeholders on a strategy on how to best spend $2.2-million in funding over the next two years earmarked to combat homelessness.
Social Services GM Margaret Roushorne says they're looking at a model to assist people suffering from mental health issues or addiction with transitional housing.

She says they also want to help seniors or those with medical issues who are unable to care for themselves, after being discharged from hospital.
Stakeholders are being asked to draw up a budget and the plan will be presented to Lambton County Council by early next year.
