Hospital Encourages Women To 'Just Book It'

Women will be receiving first-time mammograms at Bluewater Health Friday as part of the hospital's 'Just Book It' campaign.

The Cancer Care Ontario Breast Screening Program has found 50-54-year-olds have the largest number of screen-eligible women who have not booked a mammogram before.

Director of Diagnostic Imaging Diane Cadieux says the average mammogram takes just five minutes to book and less than ten minutes to complete.
