Trail Getting Accessibility Upgrades

Bluewater Trails and the Sarnia Accessibility Advisory Committee are collaborating to promote the use of mobility devices on the Howard Watson Nature Trail.

Construction of the $220,000 project will widen, level and resurface the trail system. Bluewater Trails Chair Jared Fedora says they've received $110,000 of federal money to help fund the project.

Construction will begin in spring 2016 on areas that need it most. It aims to enhance the trail for all users, including those with mobility issues.
