Job action at Ontario schools has moved beyond teachers.
Thousands of education support workers launched the first phase of a work-to-rule campaign Thursday.
As part of the job action, the members of CUPE will work only their scheduled hours, take all breaks and lunch and won't do any volunteer activities. CUPE Local 4168 President Suzanne Mills says while students may feel some affects, their safety remains a priority.

The job action involves 1,000 support staff at the Lambton-Kent District School Board and 400 at the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. Contract talks were set for Thursday and Friday between the province and the union representing office administrators, custodians, library technicians, early childhood educators and IT specialists.
