It was an expensive morning for six drivers. Sarnia police issued two careless driving tickets and four for disobeying a road closed sign in the area of Indian Rd. and Confederation. Police say motorists drove around the clearly marked area with a fully marked police cruiser in clear view. Careless driving carries a fine of $490 and six demerit points. Disobeying a road closed sign will cost you $110 and two demerit points. Police remind motorists to obey posted signs for the safety of construction workers.
