The London Knights beat the Sarnia Sting 3-1 at the RBC Centre Saturday night to sweep the OHL preseason home-and-home series between the 402 rivals.
As was the case Friday night in London in the Knights 6-1 win, Anthony Salinitri had the lone Sting goal.
The Windsor native, acquired by trade with the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds last year, knocked in a rebound off the end boards midway through the second period. Jeff King and Kevin Spinozzi drew the assists.
The goal narrowed the Knights lead to 2-1 at the time but Matthew Tkachuk restored London's two goal lead on the power play with seven minutes left in the period and there would be no scoring in the third.
Owen MacDonald and Evan Bouchard had the other London goals.
The Sting went 0 for 8 on the power play while London was 2 for 9.
The bright spot in the game for the Sting was the goaltending of Justin Fazio. He looked sharp from start to finish, stopping 27 of 30 shots and was named second star.
Michael Giugovaz and Emauel Vella split the netminding duties for the Knights.
Attendance at the RBC Centre was 2,057.
The Sting play the third of six exhibition games Wednesday at Saginaw.
Saturday afternoon the Sting announced the signing of Brigden native Kaden Fulcher to a Standard Player Agreement.
Fulcher was selected 241st overall by the Sting in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
