Lambton County's Public Works Depot is hosting a free household hazardous waste disposal day on Saturday. Public Works Manager Jason Cole says they're accepting items like batteries, pesticides, pool chemicals, gas, paints, and oils. [audio mp3="http://blackburnnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/cole-3.mp3"][/audio] Cole says things like PCBs, commercial, industrial, and radio active wastes, electronics and explosives won't be accepted. The depot runs from 9:30am until 2pm at the Public Works Depot at 6958 Townsend Line. It's co-sponsored by Clean Harbors Canada.
