Loonies For Lunches

The McDonald's Loonies for Lunches campaign kicks off today at the Christina St. location.

Volunteers from the Inn of the Good Shepherd will be holding a raffle draw and prize giveaways from 12pm-2pm.

Starting Monday, August 31, customers at the drive-in and storefront will be asked to donate $1 or more to help feed local community children.

Executive Director Myles Vanni says the Loonies for Lunches campaign has raised over $53,000 over the past nine years.

The donations come at a critical time to provide much needed lunch items before school starts.
