Work started on 24 homes in the Sarnia area last month. That's up from 22 starts in May and right on pace with June 2014. CMHC Senior Market Analyst Anthony Passarelli expects we may see an increase in starts over the next few months.

So far this year, work started on 64 single detached family homes, which Passarelli says is within the five year average for the area.
The numbers include Sarnia, St. Clair Twp and Pt.Edward.
