Some local athletes are in Edmonton this weekend for the Canadian Track and Field Championships.
Corunna's Derek Drouin will be competing in senior men's high jump Saturday night at 5pm. He holds the Canadian junior record with a jump of 2.27m.
Jillian Drouin will be busy this weekend as she competes in several events, starting with senior women's long jump tonight at 5pm. She'll get her busy Saturday starting at 10am with senior women's high jump, then shot put at 4pm, followed by 100m hurdles set for 6pm.
Riley Wilhelm is in action at the junior women's discus finals set for 2:15pm this afternoon(Friday).
Connor Black will compete in the junior men's 5000m Sunday.
