Lambton OPP say they arrested a man carrying a replica firearm on Main St. Grand Bend early last Saturday. Police say at about 2:18am they received information about an individual concealing a hand gun. A man was searched and a replica firearm and shoulder holster were seized. 28-year-old Stephen Shane Debona of Mount Hope, Ontario faces charges including carrying a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose. He's to appear in Sarnia court August 10. Police say unless authorized by the Criminal Code or Firearms Act, no one is permitted to possess or carry replica firearms in a dangerous, careless or concealed manner.
